10 Texas Companies Head to the Final Judging Round
More than 500 Texans threw their hats into the ring submitting 564 products to H-E-B’s 2022 Quest for Texas Best competition. From coffee, cleaners, and confections, to salsas, salamis, and seasonings, H-E-B’s Business Development and Sourcing Managers reviewed a host of products for potential placement on store shelves. H-E-B is pleased to announce the top 10 contestants, who will present their products for final judging on August 24th at Dallas’ Fair Park.

H-E-B’s Primo Picks Quest for Texas Best judges narrowed the field of 25 finalists to just FIVE winners on Friday, August 11 at the Central Texas Food Bank.

H-E-B Pilots Delivery Across 100 Stores
H-E-B Grocery Co. is piloting a hybrid method for delivering its goods to consumers' homes. The San Antonio-based grocery chain is rolling out the system in nearly 100 of its more than 300 locations, with store employees handpicking orders, bagging the groceries and handing them to independent drivers for delivery.

H-E-B Rx COVID-19 Vaccine Update
Customers who received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine from H-E-B between 12/23 and 12/27 will be contacted by H-E-B to schedule an appointment to receive the second dose. H-E-B has requested additional allocation of vaccine from the state of Texas. Our limited allocation has either already been distributed or is scheduled to be administered. We are awaiting additional allocation of vaccine from the state of Texas so we can continue to vaccinate healthcare providers as well as begin offering vaccine to those in Phase 1B.
