The Texas State Troopers Association (TSTA) has officially opened applications for the 2025 TSTA Scholarship Program, offering financial support to students pursuing higher education. This year, TSTA is awarding ten scholarships of $500 each to deserving individuals who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.

Empowering the Next Generation

Education is a cornerstone of progress, and TSTA is committed to investing in the future. The scholarship program is open to students entering or currently enrolled in an accredited college, with a unique opportunity for those connected to the TSTA family. To be eligible, applicants must be sponsored by a TSTA member, reinforcing the association’s dedication to supporting its community.

How to Apply

Qualified students must submit the following:

✅ Proof of enrollment or acceptance into an accredited college
✅ A sponsorship letter from a TSTA member (such as a parent or guardian)
✅ Academic transcripts (college or high school for incoming freshmen)
✅ A personal essay detailing their relationship with their TSTA member-sponsor, their education goals, and future aspirations
✅ A record of academic, civic, and extracurricular involvement
✅ Two to three letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or mentors
