For 2025, Cadillac Racing will field four Cadillac V-Series.R racecars, competing in the highly competitive Hypercar class—an expansion that highlights the brand’s commitment to innovation, performance, and championship glory.

A Historic Milestone at Circuit de la Sarthe

Marking 75 years since Cadillac first raced at Le Mans, the luxury automaker is poised to make history on June 14-15, 2025. The event’s organizer, Automobile Club de l’Ouest, extended invitations to Cadillac Racing following their strong performances over the past two years—including a podium finish in 2023.

🔹 Nos. 12 & 38 – Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R

• Earned automatic entry via full-season FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) participation
• Drivers: Jenson Button, Earl Bamber, Sébastien Bourdais, Alex Lynn, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens

🔹 No. 101 – Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R

• Full-season IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (GTP class) entrant
• Primary Driver: Ricky Taylor (additional lineup TBA)

🔹 No. 311 – Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R

• Returning for its third consecutive Le Mans appearance under Action Express Racing
• Primary Driver: Jack Aitken (additional lineup TBA)

The Cadillac V-Series.R is a powerhouse, engineered for peak performance with a 5.5L DOHC V-8 engine, developed by GM’s Performance and Racing Propulsion team in Michigan. Co-developed with Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis expert Dallara, this cutting-edge machine incorporates signature Cadillac elements like vertical lighting and aerodynamic floating blades.

🏁 Cadillac’s relationship with Le Mans dates back to 1950, when the brand made its debut with the Series 61 coupes. That year, Miles and Sam Collier finished 10th, while Briggs Cunningham’s famed “Le Monstre” placed 11th. The automaker returned to the iconic race in 2000, 2001, and 2002 with its Northstar LMP prototypes.
