Introducing the 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ: Electrifying Luxury for the Next Generation

Cadillac has unveiled the 2025 OPTIQ, a groundbreaking entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market that promises to redefine luxury for the modern age. The OPTIQ is designed to be the ultimate gateway to Cadillac's all-electric future, offering an impressive combination of range, performance, and cutting-edge technology at a competitive price point.

Unmatched Performance and Range

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ is equipped with a standard dual motor all-wheel drive system, delivering a Cadillac-estimated 300 miles of range on a single charge. This robust powertrain provides 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of instant torque, ensuring a thrilling driving experience. Thanks to its innovative Ultium Platform and low rolling resistance tires, the OPTIQ achieves exceptional aerodynamic performance, further enhancing its efficiency.

“With near-instantaneous torque, OPTIQ delivers a unique and spirited driving experience,” said John Cockburn, chief engineer. “The Ultium Platform allows us to fit enough muscle into a smaller package to provide a thrilling performance, delivering a sensation of isolated precision.”

Cutting-Edge Charging Capabilities

The OPTIQ features an 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack that supports DC fast charging, adding up to 79 miles of range in just 10 minutes. It also includes a Dual-Level Charge Cord for versatile charging options, whether at home or on the go. Additionally, the vehicle offers innovative features like Regen On Demand and One-Pedal Driving, which enhance efficiency by converting kinetic energy back into the battery.

Sophisticated Design and Spacious Interior

Cadillac’s design team has outdone themselves with the OPTIQ, blending sophisticated surfacing with advanced technology. The sporty and youthful exterior is complemented by a fixed-glass roof, a signature black crystal grille with a laser-etched pattern, and an innovative rear-quarter panel window design.

Inside, the OPTIQ offers segment-best cargo capacity and second-row spaciousness, creating a luxurious and comfortable environment. The interior features sustainable materials, including a patterned accent fabric woven from 100% recycled materials and PaperWood veneer made from tulip wood and recycled newspaper.

“OPTIQ’s bold design leverages the Cadillac standard for luxury while remaining youthful, sporty, and innovative,” said Bryan Nesbitt, executive director of Cadillac Design. “Its expressive detailing, integrated technology, and welcoming interior give drivers a truly immersive experience.”
