Red Cross supports more than 65 people from Houston Apartment Fire

The American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast region is helping more than 65 people recover after an apartment fire yesterday at the Stonehave Apartments near the Galleria. Volunteers from the Houston chapter of the Red Cross were on scene last night meeting with families and providing assistance to meet their immediate needs.

Those affected will connect with Red Cross caseworkers in the coming days to work on a longer-term recovery plan.

The Red Cross can provide assistance through the generosity of our donors and the commitment of our volunteers. If anyone needs assistance and has left the scene, we ask that they contact us at 1-800-RED-CROSS (733-2767).

If you'd like to learn how you can help neighbors in your community during times like this go to RedCross.org/Texas to volunteer.
