Fish City Grill and Half Shells are excited to kick off 2021 with four comfort-food specials to keep you cozy during chilly January: Shrimp and Andouille Mac and Cheese, Slow Roasted Louisiana Pot Roast, Shrimp and “Shroom” Linguini and Creole Jambalaya. The pot roast was on the regular menu many years ago and is still requested by longtime fans of the restaurant, so Fish City Grill and Half Shells are pleased to bring back the recipe for a limited time. Below is a description of each dish:
· Shrimp and Andouille Mac and Cheese: With smoked gouda, Parmesan and breadcrumb topping
· Slow Roasted Louisiana Pot Roast: With Cajun spices, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, roasted carrots and crispy onions
· Shrimp and “Shroom” Linguini: With shiitake and cremini mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, basil, green onions and Parmesan cream sauce
· Creole Jambalaya: With shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken, creole tomato broth and white rice.
The items are each $14.99 and will be available for dine-in and take-out from Jan. 12-25.
Fish City Grill and Half Shells also are featuring two new Chalkboard Specials that will be available all January long. BBQ Salmon Tacos ($13.99) come with grilled salmon, chipotle BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings, chipotle slaw and Dijon potato salad. The Blackened Redfish Double Oscar ($25.99) is served with lump crab meat, shrimp, Hollandaise, broccoli rice casserole and chargrilled asparagus.
