Rockets Honor Area First Responders On Patriot Day With Meal Pick-Up Service at Toyota Center

For the sixth straight year, the Houston Rockets are conducting a day of service in honor of area police and fire departments in remembrance of the efforts by first responders on September 11, 2001.

Rockets owner Tilman J. Fertitta’s Saltgrass Steak House will prepare 250 meals which will be distributed by Rockets and Toyota Center employees to representatives from select police and fire stations via a pick-up station outside of the arena. Each meal will feed a family of four and comes with a customized Rockets face mask, T-shirt, and other team memorabilia.
