Harris County Reaches One Million Early Voters Ahead of the November 3 General Election

Record-breaking turnout and momentum continues with a week left of Early Voting

Record voter turnout continues in Harris County, with one million Harris County voters already having cast their ballots ahead of the November 3rd General Election. Harris County turnout is expected to surge past total 2016 General Election figures before the end of the Early Voting period. Voters are encouraged to make their plan to vote and visit www.HarrisVotes.com/Locations to find their nearest voting center. Friday, October 30, is the last day to vote early ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, November 3.

"What we are seeing in Harris County is incredible and proves that when you make voting more accessible, people turn out to vote," said Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins. "This November, Harris County voters have more choice in how they vote –– from more voting centers, Drive-Thru Voting, extended voting hours, and next Thursday, a 24-hour voting option at select locations. Let's keep it up Harris County! "
