Betty – Available on Digital June 6th

Based on Crystal Moselle’s critically acclaimed feature Skate Kitchen, this six-episode half-hour series follows a diverse group of young women navigating their lives through the predominantly male-oriented world of skateboarding, set against the backdrop of New York City. Starring Dede Lovelace, Moonbear, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, and Rachelle Vinberg, who all starred in the original film. Betty is directed by Crystal Moselle; Executive Produced by Moselle, Lesley Arfin, Igor Srubshchik and Jason Weinberg.

Dan Soder: Son of a Gary – Available on Digital June 14th

Taped at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom before a sold-out, live audience, Dan Soder: Son of a Gary – the comedian’s first HBO comedy special – showcases Soder’s down-to-earth approach to material relating to his life as a thirtysomething New Yorker (via Colorado). Bringing his good-natured humor to such themes as family trauma, dating in your thirties, and hitting puberty in the days of dial-up internet, Soder offers his sharp observations on a number of topics, including drug dogs at the airport, the customer service generation, fake fights in the shower, and what it’s like to have an alcoholic dad, but a fun one. From a no-nonsense set that highlights his easygoing style, the comedian promises to draw in audiences over the course of the one-hour special with his takes on everything from the banal to the profound. Believing that dark humor is the only way to get through life’s curveballs, Soder shares some of the ups and downs of his own experience in a relatable and sidesplittingly funny way.

I Know This Much Is True – Available on Digital June15th

Mark Ruffalo stars as identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in this family saga, which follows their parallel lives in an epic story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness. The series, set in the fictional town of Three Rivers, Connecticut, shows Dominick and Thomas at different stages in their lives, beginning in their present in the early 1990s with both brothers approaching middle-age, filled in with Dominick’s flashbacks to their young adulthood and childhood. The six-episode limited drama series, written for television and directed by Derek Cianfrance, is based on Wally Lamb’s award-winning New York Times bestseller of the same name.

Finding the Way Home – Available on Digital June15th

Finding the Way Home highlights the painful realities of the eight million children living in orphanages and other institutions around the world, focusing on six extraordinary stories of children who have been reunited with family members or placed in loving foster homes after experiencing the trauma of institutionalization. The film shares insights from families, social workers and dedicated foster parents to illustrate what it truly means to be home. Heartbreaking, enlightening and uplifting, Finding the Way Home visits overcrowded children’s institutions, nurturing foster homes and reunited households to trace a complex path through both state-run and private orphanages – from Moldova to Nepal. Inspired by the work of J.K. Rowling’s foundation Lumos, directed and produced by Emmy®-winners Jon Alpert and Matthew O’Neill, and with narration by Oscar®-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, Finding the Way Home brings to light the many factors – poverty, discrimination, drug addiction, war, natural disaster – that bring children to these institutions, and instills hope for a world where every child has a home.

Insecure: Season 4 – Available on Digital June15th

A new season that finds our favorite characters evaluating their relationships, new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in the next phase of their lives.
