SOUTH CHINA SEA (Mar. 17, 2020) U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Victoria Torres, from Houston, fires an M9 pistol during a handgun qualifications course on the flight deck aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85). McCampbell is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
