It’s only been one day since Megan Thee Stallion let her fans know she had an ongoing issue with her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, and she’s already filed a lawsuit against the company and its CEO, Carl Crawford. Oh and filed a restraining order against him too. According to Billboard Meg was granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) Monday (March 2) against her label and its CEO by a federal judge in Texas. The rapper, whose real name is Megan Pete, said she took the “extraordinary step” of filing for a temporary restraining order because her label was instructing the distributor of her records “not to release or distribute any of her new music.” She says her new music is scheduled to be released on Friday and if it isn’t, it will “have a devastating impact, and cause irreparable injury” to her career.
