Legacy to Host HIV Testing Fair for National HIV Testing Day on June 27

Saturday, June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. To honor the observance and to help people get tested, know their HIV status, and get linked to care and treatment, Legacy Community Health will be offering free HIV testing to the general public at three Houston locations. Eligible attendees can also be linked to PrEP for HIV prevention, a proven once-a-day pill that prevents HIV infection. In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be outdoors with the HIV testing taking place inside either a tent or a Legacy clinic. Upon arrival, all attendees will be screened for respiratory symptoms and must wear a mask or face covering. Social distancing measures will also be in place with one person allowed in for HIV testing at a time, in order of arrival, which may result in wait times.

Free food will be available for attendees while waiting. Attendees will also be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card.
