HANDY (Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth) and Kirk Brown, HANDY CEO will be featured in Unspoken, a 12-Part Series presented by the Albert Wilson Foundation premiering on Thursday, July 16 at 6:00 pm.
· Unspoken is a 12-Part Series that was created by Albert Wilson, Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver to open a dialogue about what it means to be Black in America.
· Kirk Brown, HANDY CEO, will be featured as a panelist throughout the 12-part series and will discuss topics that shed light on issues impacting the day-to-day lives of Black Americans through candid, open, and difficult dialogue.
· Since 1985, HANDY has transformed the lives of over 50,000 children and family members in Broward County. Each year, HANDY serves over 1,200 individuals per year. This includes youth ages nine-25, family members and caregivers in Broward County.
· The Albert Wilson Foundation seeks to create opportunities that will enhance the lives of youth in foster care and help change the destiny of foster children and break the cycle of abuse, neglect and abandonment.
