Mohamed Omar Ali, an Islamic religious leader, has been charged with alleged sex crimes against four children. The announcement of Ali being charged with one count of sexual assault of a child and three counts of sexual indecency of a child was made by Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls. Ali's bail has been set at $125,000. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put a detainer on Ali, and hr is being held at the Fort Bend County jail.
