New memoir inspires readers with a true story of faith in times of war

Zac Miller marks his publishing debut with the release of ‘Faith in War the Soldiers Bible’

From the jungles of Vietnam in 1965 to the mountains of Afghanistan in 2019, a pocket Bible was passed from soldier to soldier over the course of 50-plus years and carried off to war in the hopes that God would be watching over them. Zac Miller invites readers to witness their journey within the pages of “Faith in War the Soldiers Bible” (published by Xlibris).

This memoir is a firsthand account of seven U.S. Army combat veterans who have a combined 11 combat tours between them. These veterans fought in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Some of the awards they amassed on these tours include three bronze stars with V device for valor, two purple hearts, two combat infantryman’s badges and a combat action badge. The common link that all of these veterans share is that they all carried the same war-torn pocket Bible into battle and, by God’s grace, all made it home alive.

“This is not your common war story. This is a true story that takes place from 1965 to 2019,” the author shares. “I didn’t want it to be lost as some of the characters in the book are getting older and their stories need to be heard and passed on through the generations to come.”

“Faith in War the Soldiers Bible” is an inspiring book that any veteran or family member of a veteran can directly relate to.
