Houston ISD Relaunches Grab and Go Meals Program On Monday, April 6, 2020

The Houston Independent School District is relaunching its Grab and Go Curbside Meals Program on Monday, April 6, 2020.

The relaunch will continue HISD and the Houston Food Bank working together, but with Hexser T. Holliday Food Services Support Facili- ty as the central hub and with increased safety measures. Each site will have 500 meals per day.

As families arrive at the sites, staff members will fill out a required food assistance form for them to Hous- ton ISD Relaunches Grab and Go Meals on Monday, April 6minimize interpersonal contact. Boxed meals will then be placed in the trunks of vehicles. Families who walk to the sites must also adhere to social distancing requirements.
