The Bubble Bath Car Wash has made a donation in an effort to support The DoSeum’s mission to provide San Antonio families with an environment of joyful learning through exploration, open-ended discovery and role-play.

The Bubble Bath Car Wash and The DoSeum are proud and happy to unveil a new carwash play area installed in Little Town, one of the institution’s most popular exhibits. The Bubble Bath Car Wash will allow the museum’s young guests to learn through role-play as customers and car wash employees by making connections with the real world and strengthening relationships and interactions.

“The integration of the car wash into The DoSeum’s beloved Little Town exhibition hall is clever and charming. It is a pleasure observing our Doers moving through the brightly-colored simulated experience with plenty of smiles and squeals of delight.” said DoSeum CEO Dan Menelly. “

The DoSeum’s Little Town exhibit is a favorite among guests and serves as a miniature cityscape filled with role-playing adventures which include an H-E-B shopping experience, Whataburger food truck, airport, veterinary hospital, a Holt Cat construction zone, and now thanks to The Bubble Bath Car Wash, a car washing station. Kids learn by playing out scenes they experience while observing the adults in their lives and in doing so they make real world connections; build on their self-confidence; and are introduced to numbers and literacy. “It’s thrilling to see our early childhood development efforts being recognized with this generous gift” said Kathy Jordan, the DoSeum’s Early Childhood Educator & Director of The Little Doers Preschool. “Bubble Bath Car Wash’s generosity is uplifting and has allowed us to enhance our efforts to provide young children with opportunities for exploration and discovery in a safe space for play-based learning.”

The DoSeum will unveil their newly installed Bubble Bath Car Wash on Wednesday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. Museum visitors and guests will be invited to experience this exciting new addition.
