The Galleria Announces Three New Retailers

Market Exclusive Brands and Immersive Experiences Enhance Dynamic Retail Mix

HOUSTON, TX – July 15, 2019 – Simon, a global leader in the ownership of premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, has announced three new retailers slated to open at The Galleria this year – Panerai, Jo Malone London and Hope & Henry. The FOMO Factory has also joined the Galleria line up this summer offering a uniquely immersive experience exclusively in Houston.

Italian luxury watchmaker, Panerai, will open its first Houston boutique this fall. Since its creation in 1938 for the Italian Navy, Panerai watches have become a legend by collectors and enthusiasts as a result of its unique identity and its rarity. Distinguished by four fundamental aesthetics of the watch's design - simplicity, purity, elegance and functionality - Panerai timepieces continue in the spirit which unites Italian design and the art of Swiss watchmaking.

British bespoke fragrance brand Jo Malone London’s famous colognes are designed for discovery: carefully-crafted to wear solo or layered together for a personal scented signature. Alongside colognes, iconic and seasonal fragrances are designed to scent your home, indulge in bath & body rituals and accompany you on your travels. Jo Malone London is synonymous with a bespoke style of service, from advice on styling a scented statement through the joy of Fragrance Combining™ to finding a personalized gift, or simply indulging in a relaxing Hand & Arm Massage at the Tasting Bar™. The new boutique will give customers the chance to discover the brand in an elevated, new concept environment that mixes English classicism with modern light and space. Heritage furniture is juxtaposed with stark contemporary elements, creating a destination where shopping becomes an inspiring experience.

Hope & Henry's mission is to create beautiful, high quality clothing that is affordable to all while maximizing the use of organically grown cotton and sharing profits with the talented women and men that sew them. Hope & Henry made its brick and mortar debut in Simon's turnkey retail platform, The Edit @ Roosevelt Field in 2018. Simon launched The Edit @ Roosevelt Field in 2017 to showcase an artfully curated selection of new and emerging brands on a rotating basis at its iconic property in the metro New York area.

Aesop celebrates the simple virtues of daily routines with its much-loved skin, hair and body care products. Using a unique blend of both plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients of the highest quality and proven efficacy—particularly those with the greatest antioxidant properties—Aesop's collections intensely nourish the skin and restore the senses to a state of delighted calm.

This summer, customers will be able to escape to a wonderland at The FOMO Factory complete with a giant sand castle, ball-filled swimming pool, and candy-covered swings. The immersive exhibit filled with fantastical sets from iconic childhood moments is the brainchild of native Texan Rachel Youens, who was inspired by her life-changing time spent at a summer camp for grown ups where she learned about the power of play. After years spent in the corporate world with companies including Forever 21 and EA Games, she decided to cultivate an all-ages space where adults could feel like kids again.

RENOVATIONS AND RELOCATIONS:

In May, Ralph Lauren revealed a new and modernized location. The new boutique is in Galleria II, Level One and features the newest expression of the World of Ralph Lauren, featuring Men’s and Women’s Apparel and Accessories including Polo Ralph Lauren.

In June, Salvatore Ferragamo commenced a renovation project slated for completion this Fall. Salvatore Ferragamo will temporarily relocate to Level Two near Neiman Marcus.
