Texas Injection Molding LLC has partnered with Houston Community College to provide job training using a $183,879 Skills Development Fund grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). The grant will benefit workers in the Workforce Solutions Gulf Coast area.

This grant will be used to provide custom training to 77 new and incumbent workers in the manufacturing industry. Trainees will include maintenance supervisors, office managers, packers, process engineering technicians and others. Upon completion of training, the workers will receive an average hourly wage of $25.14.

TWC Commissioner Representing Labor Julian Alvarez will present a check to representatives from Texas Injection Molding LLC and Houston Community College at a 2:00 p.m. ceremony to be held in SYS-2D02 Sem B at Houston Community College at 3100 Main St. in Houston.
