Houston Area Rockler Woodworking and Hardware Stores Hold FREE Father’s Day Gift Classes June 9th

Complete a Custom Bow Tie for Dad Using Wood

Houston, TX – Both Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in Houston - Houston and Spring – are offering free, hands-on, “Make & Take” custom, Bow Tie project classes throughout the day on Saturday, June 9, 2018, just in time for Father’s Day. Participants can learn basic woodworking skills while handcrafting a custom Bow Tie using beautiful hardwoods. No experience or tools are needed and the class – including materials - is free. Instruction will be provided by the store’s expert woodworkers and teachers.

Make Dad a custom bow tie using beautiful hardwoods and other materials. Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will be offering these complimentary classes throughout the day on Saturday, June 9th. All instruction and materials are included!

Class size will be limited to eight participants per session, so lots of one-on-one help will be available. Attendees under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. The class will last approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

You’ll choose your wood species, cut out your bow tie design, dress up your bow tie with strips of inlay, then sand and finish your piece.
