NAACP Set to Launch Youth Initiative on Black Economic Power in Houston

Houston, TX— In efforts to engage Black youth in programming that promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and innovation, The NAACP is launching a 3-day Youth Council Idea Lab in three cities: Aurora, IL; Jacksonville, FL; and Houston, TX. The purpose of this Idea Lab is to help our young members begin to think critically about moving beyond consumerism and producing goods/services that impact their communities. At the end of this 3-day program, participants will create, innovate, and wield their Black Economic Power!
