Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Announces the Awarding of a $147,044 grant to ‘Healthcare for the homeless’ in Houston

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee announced today that the Health Resources and Services Administration Program awarded a grant in the amount of $147,044 to ‘Healthcare for the Homeless’ in the city of Houston. The grant will help provide aid to homeless individuals, including women and children.

‘Healthcare for the Homeless’ serves those in need through medical care, mental health services, addiction counseling, case management, and dental care. “I am pleased to announce that the Health Resources and Services Administration Program has awarded a grant in the amount of $147,044 to the Healthcare for the Homeless in the city of Houston,” said Congresswoman Jackson Lee.
