Houston, TX, February 27, 2018 - In August 2018, Yellowstone College Prep will open its doors to serve students in the historic Third Ward community. As nearby public schools face a difficult future, Yellowstone College Prep provides families with a safe and academically-driven option for middle school students. The unique charter school model was approved by the state in June 2017 and is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis.

Yellowstone College Prep is a free 5th-8th grade middle school open to all students. The community based school provides small class sizes, rigorous academics, state-of-the-art technology, character education, bus service, robust family engagement, and community partnerships. With over 15 years of experience here in Third Ward, our faculty and staff are committed to the intellectual and emotional growth of our community’s students.
