ESPN has named Simone Biles as the ‘Most Dominant Athlete.’ ESPN noted Biles’ recent string of historic victories at the world championships. After winning gold at the 2016 Olympics, Biles went on to win individual gold medals in the all-around competition, vault, and floor exercise categories during the World Championships by her record fourth all-around title by her largest margin and lead the U.S. Gymnastics women’s team to gold again. All of which made Biles the first U.S. gymnast (male or female) to medal at every event at a world championship. She accomplished all this while nursing a kidney stone. Her dominance rating is 3.248. Biles was one of five women who made the top 20 list. Also making ESPN’s list were Daniel Cormier (#3), Katie Ledecky (#5), LeBron James (#13), Drew Brees (#15), and James Harden (#19).
