Get the Look: Emily Blunt in Chantecaille

At the London premiere of Mary Poppins Returns, celebrity makeup artist Jenn Streicher used Chantecaille to create a rosy pink look on star Emily Blunt.

“I wanted to create a warm monochromatic look with pink tones that enhanced her face and eye color and Jenn Streicher complemented the gorgeous royal blue Schiaparelli dress.”

Skin

  1. To battle jet lag, Emily wore Gold Eye Recovery Masks while she napped ($195).

  2. Jenn prepped Emily’s skin with Magnolia Jasmine and Lily Healing Emulsion ($120), a calming and hydrating moisturizer.

  3. She brightened and refreshed Emily’s under eyes by rolling on Nano Gold Energizing Eye Serum ($210).

Face:

  1. Jenn mixed together two shades of Future Skin Foundation for the perfect color ($78). She used Ivory, a light shade with soft rose undertones, and Porcelain, a fair shade with light undertones.

  2. To brighten under the eyes and remove any redness around Emily’s nose, Jenn used Le Camouflage Stylo in #2, a light beige shade ($52).

  3. On the apples of Emily’s cheeks, Jenn blended Cheek Gelée in rosy pink Happy ($44). On top of that, she highlighted the cheek bones with Philanthropy Cheek Shade in Emotion, a golden coral ($40).

Eyes:

  1. Jenn used Chantecaille Lip Veil in a totally new way; she mixed the new, hydrating lip color in an easy pink nude Honeypot ($48) with Mermaid Eye Color in Starfish, a warm mauve ($34).

“This was the key trick to creating the monochromatic look. I wanted the eye and the lips to be the same shade with just a wash of color on both.”

  1. Jenn applied multiple layers of Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara onto Emily’s lashes ($72).

  2. To finish the eyes, Jenn used Full Brow Gel in Dark to brush and set Emily’s brows. ($40)

“I like to use the applicator to brush the brows in the opposite direction of growth to make sure all those light colored eyebrow hairs are tinted. This makes the brows look fuller without having to use a brow pencil."

Lips:

  1. To complete Emily’s look, Jenn applied Lip Veil in Honeypot, an easy pink nude ($48). After applying directly to the lips, Jenn then used her finger to dab a little more color for a stained and blurred effect.
