The Kaleidoscope Foundation Guild Recognizes Some Of Houston’s Outstanding Philanthropists

“Oh, How Fascinating” served as the overarching fundraising theme for the Kaleidoscope Guild as they honored some community leaders and achievers who demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence, community service, and philanthropy. The chosen honorees, sponsors, and guests attended an elegant reception on October 12, 2017, at the Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, TX where the “Oh, How Fascinating” Luncheon 2017 Honorees were announced as follows:

Dr. Charles E. Dupre, Fort Bend Independent School District Superintendent of Schools

Mrs. Loren Lane, First Lady of Texas Southern University

Mrs. Toni Wallace, Attorney and First African-American Female Judge Appointed in Fort Bend County

Dr. Sonya Sloan, Orthopedic Surgeon and Founder of ME & WE

Mrs. Mia Wright, Co-Pastor of The Fountain of Praise and Founder of Metamorphosis

These distinguished and selfless individuals will be honored on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at an “Oh, How Fascinating” Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria in Houston, TX.

This event serves as a major fundraiser for the Kaleidoscope Guild whose mission is to support and promote the interests of the Kaleidoscope Foundation. The Kaleidoscope Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) entity focused on the educational development of children and youth and enrichment programs for children and youth. Since its inception in 2013, the Foundation has awarded over $75,000 in college scholarships and supported numerous enrichment programs that might not otherwise have been funded.
