Houston, TX – Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will host an URGENT news conference on the IMPACT of the Trump Administration’s decision to END Temporary Protected Status for Haiti, which could force more than 50 thousand Haitian nationals to return to an island that REMAINS in CRITICAL condition.

Nearly 1,500 TPS Haitian nationals reside in Houston.

The URGENT press conference will take place on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 3:30 pm at 1919 Smith Street, Houston, 77002. Congresswoman Jackson Lee will be joined by members of Houston’s Haitian community to urge the Administration to EXTEND TPS.
