The Ensemble Theatre celebrates the Grand Finale of its 4oth Anniversary at the 2017 Annual Black Tie Gala: Live It! Love It! Celebrate! This event is held to honor the artists, companies, organizations, and individuals whose unparalleled support enables The Ensemble Theatre to be one of Houston’s most esteemed cultural institutional treasures.

Tbe 2017 Gala Chairs include: The Honorable Rodney Ellis and Licia Green-Ellis, Gala Honorary Chairs; Martin Fein and Kelli Cohen Fein, Honorary Chair; and Merele Yarborough and Jane-Page Crump, Gala Chairs.

The honorees are S. Epatha Merkerson, Lifetime Achievement Award; Renee Goldsberry, Actress of the Year; Nkrumah Gatling, Rising Star Award; Reginald Van Lee, Global Citizen of the Arts; Lauren Anderson, President’s Award; Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, Community Partner of the Year; and Energy Software Consultants, Corporate Partner of the Year
