Though the Grammy Award winning singer is worth millions, she still does not have enough money to purchase the team alone. If she does take ownership in the team she will join a lengthy list of celebrity NBA owners. Plus her hubby Jay-Z is a former owner himself. He was part owner of the Brooklyn Nets before selling his share to start ROC Nation. Leslie Alexander announced in July to put the team up for sale that he purchased in 1993 for $85 million. He now stands to get a potential 1000% return for his investment.
