Fort Worth, TX, August 02, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The Moving Factor, a local Fort Worth moving company, collected 300 pounds of food during their summer food drive. As part of their commitment to Move for Hunger, a nationwide hunger relief organization, The Moving Factor collected much needed food for the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Thursday, July 27 owner, Sean Factor, delivered peanut butter, soups, rice, beans, and much more. “We hope to at least double our donations next time,” he said.

Food was donated by clients, friends, and family of The Moving Factor. “Our clients make every bit of difference in our community outreach efforts. We couldn’t do this work without them,” said Sean Factor, owner of The Moving Factor. These Fort Worth movers support those in need throughout North Texas through other work with the United Way and local animal shelters and rescue groups.

According to the Tarrant Area Food Bank, one of six people struggles with food insecurity. More than 50,000 individuals are served each week by the TAFB and in a typical month, more than 53,000 households are served. In 2012 more than 18 million U.S. households were food insecure. The Moving Factor plans to continue their efforts to help end hunger. In August, they are teaming up with Move for Hunger again to collect and deliver company food drive donations from Delta Airlines at the DFW airport.
