Students To Undergo Psychiatric Evaluations After Allegedly Threatening Clear Brook

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas -- Two Clear Brook High School students will face mental health evaluations after police say they threatened to shoot up the school last week on the anniversary of the Columbine tragedy.

Both students appeared in juvenile court Monday morning and will continue to be held as they undergo evaluations.

“This particular case happened on the anniversary of the Columbine tragedy and it struck the community as particularly raw at that time,” said chief prosecutor Martina Longoria.

Prosecutors say the teens should be back in court this week to go over the mental health evaluations with the judge.
