A powerful moment of transition and resilience occurred as Houston City Council Member, District F, Tiffany Thomas hosted her first fundraiser without the guiding presence of two of her most trusted allies—Mayor Sylvester Turner and the late Darryl Carter. Their absence was deeply felt, but so was their spirit, as friends, neighbors, and supporters gathered to stand in the gap and carry the vision forward.
Hosted graciously by Dr. Lucky Chopra, the event was more than a fundraiser—it was a call to community. A call to action. And a call to fill the void with unwavering support, visible presence, and belief in the bold work that lies ahead.
