On January 25, 2025, the Sunnyside Community came together for a day dedicated to health, wellness, and empowerment at the Harris Health MLK Health & Wellness Fair! Under the guidance of **Jennifer Okoh, MBBS, MPH**, Medical Director, this free event provided vital resources and services to the community.
Attendees received free health screenings for blood pressure, cervical cancer, HIV, and HPV, along with immunizations for both children and adults, including COVID-19 and flu shots. The Houston Food Bank was also on-site, distributing free food to attendees while supplies lasted. 🥦🍎
The event welcomed the esteemed **Congressman Al Green**, who joined in supporting this impactful initiative. With services designed to help residents **take charge of their health**, the fair highlighted the importance of proactive care and community support.
