The 40th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards lit up the historic Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, TN, on August 16, 2025, celebrating “Our Music, Our Voice, Our Culture.” Hosted by the legendary sibling duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, the star-studded evening featured soul-stirring performances from gospel powerhouses including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tamela Mann, Donnie McClurkin, Pastor Mike Jr.,and many more.
The night’s biggest winner, Pastor Mike Jr., made history by securing his fourth consecutive Artist of the Year award, solidifying his place as one of gospel’s most influential voices. Other major honors included CeCe Winans receiving the Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year, Adia being crowned New Artist of the Year, and Central City Productions founder Don Jackson being presented with the prestigious James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award.
Celebrity presenters such as DeVon Franklin, Tyler Lepley, Serayah, Lil Rel Howery, and Trina Braxton brought extra star power to the ceremony, while a lineup of gospel greats and emerging voices made it a night to remember.
