HBCUs thrive today because of the generosity of alum, friends, community leaders, and supporters. It is crystal clear that Houston loves Texas Southern University. At TSU Foundation's annual Tiger Ball more than $1 million was raised to fuel the dreams of future leaders. Under the theme "The Heart & Soul of Houston," more than 700 gathered at the George R. Brown Convention Center to support the future of the university. Some in attendance were TSU Foundation Chairman Dr. Frazier Wilson, TSU President Vice Admiral James W. Crawford III, U.S. Navy (Ret.), Tiger Ball Chair and TSU Foundation Trustee Argentina M. James, Associate Vice President of Development & Alumni Engagement Charlie Coleman III, Executive Director of the TSU Foundation Robin Tanya Humphries Watson, Christian Menefee, Chris Hollins, Linda Toyota, Judson Robinson, and Rhonda Arnold.
