GHBC 24th Pinnacle Awards

Photography by Vicky Pink - The Greater Houston Black Chamber (GHBC) honored Houston’s best and most promising black-owned businesses at their 24th African American Business Achievement Pinnacle Awards. Entrepreneurs were recognized for their success in business as well as their service to the community. The 2018 honorees included Bonita Billings (Upstart Award); Fern Dawkins (Rising Star Award); and Dr. Milton Moore, Richard Robertson, Dannette Davis, Spurgeon Robinson, and Brandi Harleaux (Pinnacle Awards). Awards also went to Williard Jackson and Lisa Johnson (Lifetime Achievement Award), Marcus Davis (Excellence Award), Donovan Casanave (Larry V. Green Advocate of the Year Award), Charlotte Kelly Bryant (Mickey Leland Entrepreneur Public Leadership Award), and Gerald Womack (Endurance Award). Bob Harvey, Cheryl Creuzot, and Percy Creuzot were the event co-chairs.
