Photography by Vicky Pink - The Southwest Houston Police Department held their Positive Interaction Program meeting that combined business with remembrance. During the business portion, the HPD’s Mental Health Division Boarding Homes Unit Sgt. Sanchez, Officers McKnight and Llorente discussed boarding homes and regulations in the city. Following that conversation, the late Council Member Larry Green was remembered in a special candlelight vigil. Some in attendance were Council Member-Elect Martha Castex Tatum, State Rep. Borris Miles, State Rep. Harold Dutton, Trustee Wanda Adams, Algenita Scott Davis, Linda K. Brown, Council Members Jerry Davis and Amanda K. Edwards.
