2018 ECFOH Gala

The Education and Charities Foundation of Houston presented the 2018 Black & White Gala hosted by the legendary Houston Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The annual affair is one of the signature fundraisers for the foundation that benefits their mission of acquiring funds for scholarships and to directly support their Kappa Kamp initiative and other mentoring programs. Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles served as the emcee at the event that feature musical performances by Eric Benet, Cherrelle, DJ Charles “Bam Bam” Belonge, DJ Def Jam Blaster, and DA UNYT Band. Several scholarships totally over $10,000 were awarded to students. Some in attendance were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Ron Lockett, Lalou Davies-Yemitan, Dr. Raegan Flowers, Karen Jones, Jamilia Lloyd, Andrea McMillian, Janelle Brown, S.W. Mensah, Theresa Parker, Randall McHenry, and Uduma Connie Ogidi.
