Photography by Vicky Pink - On Thursday, January 18, 2018, many gathered at the Ballroom at Bayou Place to celebrate the 40th Pastoral Anniversary of Shepherd-Teacher, Manson B. Johnson II. The black tie gala honored Shepherd Johnson’s achievements over the past 40 years. Shepherd Johnson has impacted many lives and done wonderful work in the city of Houston, the state of Texas as well as nationally. Some in attendance were Melinda Spaulding, Rev. Martin Murray, Rev. Fred Ponder, Dwight Boykins, David Dewhurst, Janis Burke, Theresa Grayson, Jackie Aguilera, and Pastor L. D. Lee.
