Photography by Vicky Pink - Mega super stars Beyonce and Janet Jackson showed some love for Houston Hurricane Harvey survivors sheltering at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Beyonce also visited survivors at childhood church, St. John’s, and at the House of Blues. Accompanying Beyonce was her mother Tina Knowles, daughter Blu Ivy, former band mate Michelle Williams, and Beyonce has pledged to give funds to the relief from her BeyGood Foundation. Ahead of her concert, Janet Jackson came to Houston early to also visit with hurricane victims. She brought lots of excitement to the GRB as she walked the center with Mayor Sylvester Turner, First Daughter Ashley Turner, Jackson’s brother Randy, and her band and dancers. Janet also visited survivors at the NRG Center. Houston was Jackson’s second stop for her State of the World Tour. Proceeds from Houston tour will go to hurricane relief efforts.
