Location – The Junior League of Houston - Photography by Vicky Pink - The 5th Ward Enrichment Program, Inc. held their 16th Fall Luncheon under the theme Our Boys Matter: “Changing Men, Changing Lives” to celebrate positive mentoring experiences of mentors and mentees. Dr. Dameion Cook, Dr. Frazier Wilson, Jeff Carroll, and Ray Seals were honored and joined moderator Charles Savage for a “conversation on the couch” experience to share how their mentorship experiences have shaped subsequent behaviors. Also, legendary businessman and former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, George Foreman, Sr., received the “Ernest McMillan Lifetime Achievement Award” for his dedication to fostering opportunities for disadvantaged youth and his demonstrated leadership. Some in attendance were Gina Gatson, Shawntell & Keith McWilliams, Jerry Davis, Terrance Lovelady, Rev. Timothy Criswell, Erik Lyons, Champ Warren, Troy Porter, and Kate McCormick.
