NNPA 76th Annual National Convention

Publishers and those alike from across the country attended the conference to network and gain professional growth in an atmosphere of budding journalists and seasoned professionals. Events were held all over the city. Some in the crowd were NNPA President & CEO Benjamin F. Chavis, NNPA Chairman Cloves Campbell, Jr., Mayor Sylvester Turner, celebrities Jonathan Slocombe, Kim Burrell, and Bobby Jones, HAUL President & CEO Judson Robinson, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, Linda K. Brown, Gerald Womack, and City Councilmen Dwight Boykins, Larry Green, and Jerry Davis.
