The Rose 3rd Annual Fundraiser

Photography by Roswitha Vogler - The actors at Houston Ensemble Theatre were not the only ones to receive applause on a job well done at the annual fundraiser for The Rose. Admiration was given to all in charge of hosting the signature affair that raises funds for women of color to receive preventative treatment as well as treatment once diagnosed and in remission. Following the reception, attendees viewed The Ensemble Theatre’s Plenty of Time. Some in attendance were Mayor Sylvester Turner, Chris Noble, Kim Roxie, Zawadi Bryant, Ashley Turner, Ashley Small, Myrleen Knott, Elyse Miller, Susan Silverman, Carl Davis, and Dorothy Gibbons.
