TLOD HIC’s 29th Annual Western Gala

Photograph Courtesy of Joyce Jacquet - On Sunday, January 24, 2016, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Garden Inn Pearland for the Humble Intercontinental Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. 29th Annual Western Gala Scholarship Benefit. The annual affair raises dollars for scholarships for minority youth. In addition, community leaders that are positively impacting the lives of youth and adults are honored. This year’s honorees were Glenda Adams, Carlotta Brown, Robert Gatlin, Dr. Jacqueline Mathews and R.G. Thomas. Some in attendance were Barbara Fields, Lady Cherry Gooden, Pamela Johnson, Sylvia Jones, Barbara Lewis, Shelia Maddox, Carol McCree, Rita Murphy, Barbara Smith, Sylvia O’Neal, Mary Washington and event co-chairs Joyce Jacquet, Kathy Mosby, Claire Pope, and Rosa Rush.
