North Houston Frontiers MLK Breakfast

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Monday, January 18, 2016, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel as the North Houston Frontiers Club, Inc. hosted the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast. The proceeds from the breakfast helps fund the scholarship program of the organization. Dr. Virgil Wood served as the keynote speaker while H-E-B’s James Harris and Excellent Management Care’s Deavra Daughtry served as co-chair. Jarvis Holingsworth received the prestigious Drum Major Award. Some in attendance were Joseph Palmore, Len Cannon, Pator Terrance Johnson, Nicholas Connors, Joi Pierre, Mayor Sylvester Turner, Honorable Al Green, Karen Franklin, Corrin Williams, Charlene James, Bishop James Dixon II, Brittany Washington, Donnell Cooper, and the Boy Scouts of America – Troop #242.
