Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Reception

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Monday, January 4, 2016, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston for the celebratory reception for Houston’s new mayor Sylvester Turner. The museum was definitely the place to be as many poured in to personally congratulate Mayor Turner. Smiling from ear-to-ear, Mayor Turner said he felt the excitement for what’s to come. Some in attendance were Ashley Turner, Cindy Clifford, Dr. John Rudley, Rhonda Arnold, Darian Ward, Erica Lee Carter, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Rev. and Mrs. Caldwell, Peter Brown, Miya Shay, Judge Zinetta Burney, C.O. Bradford, Mae Walker, Argentina James, Juana Collins, Helen George, and several members of Houston City Council.
