White Linen Night in The Heights

Photography by Vicky Pink - Art appreciation was raised at the 10th annual White Linen Night in The Heights. The event that started in 2006 allows art lovers and artists to dress in white linen and admire local art. Chris and Kay Thayer modeled the event after a similar affair held in New Orleans. The free event brings a lot of traffic to local businesses in the area. Some in attendance were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Kelly Hodges, Kim Roxie, and Jackie Adams.
