D9 Houston Mayoral Forum.

Photography by Jo-Carolyn Goode - On Friday, September 25, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Trinity East United Methodist Church for the D9 Houston Mayoral Forum. Sylvester Turner, Chris Bell, Adrian Garcia, Marty McVey, and Ben Hall accepted the invitation from Houston’s Divine Nine that are members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council to voice their opinions about issues that are of concern to the African American and minority communities. The forum that was moderated by Todd A. Smith and Cindy George covered such issues as the Freedman Town bricks and Crestmont Village. Following the forum, several organizations registered individuals to vote.
