Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated’s 45th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) Phoenix Awards Dinner

Washington Convention Center for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated’s 45th Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) Phoenix Awards Dinner. Yearly at the black-tie gala honorees are recognized for their exceptional achievements and service to the Congressional Black Caucus. Rev. Dr. William Barber, II, Fred Gray, Juanita Abernathy, Dr. Amelia Boynton Robinson, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated were all honored with awards by the CBCF. President Barack Obama was the keynote speaker. Stars in the crowd were First Lady Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Lorenz Tate, Brian Courtney Wilson, Omarosa, and Nia Long. Some in attendance were Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Martin Luther King III, State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Dr. Jonita Reynolds, Karen Jackson, Congressman Al Green, Gerald Womack, City Councilman Dwight Boykins, Dr. James Ward, and Congressman John Conyers.
