2015 Houston Consular Ball

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the George R. Brown Convention Center for the Houston Consular Ball. The affair is Houston’s premier international celebration recognizing members of the nation’s third-largest consular corps and celebrating the rich diversity that makes Houston such a unique and powerful player on the global stage. Under the theme “Houston: Innovation in a World City,” the event celebrates the spirit of innovation, vitality, and global participation by bringing together global leaders of various entities who drive the growth of Houston’s economy and its ever-increasing position in the global marketplace. Some in attendance were Mayor Annise Parker, Mario Diaz, Rhonda Arnold, Houston City Council Jack Christie, Dallas Jones, Miya Shay, State Rep. Gene Wu, and Peter Brown.
